Fundraising Ride Squame

Of all the social rides, the fundraising event organized in collaboration with Bike Line was perhaps one of the most emotional. Numerous participants, especially many new faces, responded to our appeal by showing up on their bikes to spend a Saturday afternoon in good company, especially to help raise funds for the reconstruction of our beloved Romagna region, heavily damaged by the floods.

At 4pm, around a hundred cyclists set off on the 60km tour with 400D+, which included a bow on the Faenza hills admiring those views that continue to draw a souvenir photo every time we pass through them.

Upon returning from the gravel ride, steaming cappelletti and ice-cold beer were already waiting for us at Parco Pertini in Cotignola (RA). We couldn't have asked for more. The charity lottery had a prize pool made up of donations from shops and cycling-related organizations, whom we thank for their valuable collaboration.

All proceeds from the charity lottery were donated to the Faenza chapter of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI). Their volunteers are maintaining the trails we love, working to restore the damage caused by the floods and landslides. Our donation will be used to purchase equipment for the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the trail network.

The day ended with a social party, filled with 90s music and dancing around parked bicycles.
